Intro to Sewing I :: April 6 – May 4
Let’s get acquainted with machine sewing for garments!

Students will learn the basics of working with a sewing machine. Basics include straight and zig zag stitching, using a serger, applying elastic, pockets and making a finished simple garment. Students will learn to read and use a commercial pattern, how to cut out fabric, and have a basic understanding of textiles.
Tuesdays April 6 – May 4, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
$150 + $25 supply fee
Students are asked to provide 2 yards of pre-washed fabric to complete a button up blouse. Supply fee will cover costs of notions needed to complete garment.
