Makaylee Gayed
Makaylee Gayed is an apparel designer who graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2017 with a Bachelors in Textiles, Merchandising and Apparel Design. She has now shown four collections with Omaha Fashion Week, showcasing designs through Women’s wear, menswear and children’s wear. She recently relaunched her brand in 2020 with Phoenix Fashion Week, and won Outstanding Bootcamp Designer. The brand now focuses on designing hi-quality lifestyle apparel for powerful women. On top of design, she strive to bring hands-on education opportunities to the Midwest by working with the Fashion Arts Collective studio. You can see her upcoming work with organizations such as Omaha, Kansas City and Phoenix Fashion Weeks, and publications such as Eou Magazine.
