2019 ARCHIVE

celebrating local
designers and impact

Presented by the Fashion Institute Guild, the 6th annual philanthropic event honored individuals and organizations making an impact on the Midwest through the art of fashion design.

This year’s event celebrated the impact of the The Buckle, Dr. Eulanda Sanders, Pam Finn and Sara Saab.  The evening was a huge success, raising nearly $58,000.  This will provide fantastic support to our area designers!  All funds raised will support The Fashion Institute of the Midwest’s designer education and support.

The support from our contributors and sponsors allows us to expand awareness and appreciation for the art of Fashion Design as exhibited through talent right here in the Midwest. This support encourages those who are pursuing the arts as a profession and provides valuable life skills such as confidence, team-work, self-expression and discipline.

The Fashion Institute Guild (FIG) is a non-profit organization founded in 2013 to help advance the fashion ecosystem of the Midwest. As the supporting organization for Fashion Institute Midwest (FIM), FIG’s mission is to enrich local fashion talent through fundraising and volunteering. Apart from creating beautiful garments and accessories, our designers need support in many areas ranging from business development to marketing and beyond. The Fashion Impact Awards serve as a fundraiser to support these FIM designers who are making a lasting impact on fashion in the Midwest.
